Welcome to Ploughmans Rest, our luxury 5 star holiday cottage near Leamington Spa and Warwick. The holiday cottage provides luxurious family friendly self catering holiday accommodation for 6 people. The cottage is ideally placed for the Cotswolds, Oxford and Stratford upon Avon and the history and beauty of Warwickshire.
Our Luxury Self Catering Accommodation
Ploughmans Rest is one of five luxury holiday cottages which have been lovingly restored and adapted from 17th Century barns, an old milking parlour and a grain store to provide ‘Five Star’ luxury self-catering cottages. In the comfortable and relaxing sitting rooms are TV’s, dvd’s and a large range of board games, puzzles and books.
In summary our luxurious self catering accommodation includes on the ground floor a sitting room, very large fully equipped oak kitchen/dining room, toilet and cloakroom. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6). There is a double Bedroom with a French antique double bed with high quality pocket sprung mattress, with ensuite shower and toilet. There is also a Large Twin Room with heavy country pine single beds with high quality pocket sprung mattresses, with extra bed if required. Finally there is a Small Twin Room, again with heavy country pine single beds with high quality pocket sprung mattresses. There is also a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet.
Our Warwickshire Location
The holiday cottage is located in the village of Knightcote, near Southam, Leamington Spa and Warwick. It is ideally placed for exploring Stratford upon Avon, the whole of Warwickshire and the Cotswolds.
The self catering cottage is positioned amongst 600 acres of beautiful Warwickshire farmland encompassing an impressive antique tractor collection, an orchard carp lake and farm trails where you can wander endlessly spotting badgers, deer, butterflies and birds whilst enjoying the outstanding views of the landscape and the Burton Dassett Hills beyond.
