All the bungalows have an enviable view of the stunning West Somerset Coast from their private gardens with the steam trains of the West Somerset Railway meandering across farm land.
Rise early to view the spectacular sunrise and perhaps catch sight of the deer in the adjacent field. After a day out exploring glorious West Somerset sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the front garden as the sun sets over North Hill.
At night our resident owl can be heard, and often seen, teaching her chicks to fly, Oak tree to Oak tree. We can't guarantee you a visit from Bill the Badger but he is around. Percy the pheasant and his harem of "wives" will make their presence known though, as well as so many different species of birds

Walk, cycle, fish, go horse riding or travel on the West Somerset Railway! All of this is possible either from your front door or within a short drive. Also available at no extra cost, amazing sea, castle and moor land views! West Somerset is peaceful, with stunning views and picturesque villages, giving you plenty to do or plenty of time to do just nothing... come and share our little bit of paradise with us.
Primrose Hill Awards...
Primrose Hill is inspected each year by list and is a member of the Exmoor Tourist Association. In December 2010 we won the Accessible Somerset Awards for the third year running and in 2006/7 were Self-Catering Holiday of the Year in the Exmoor Excellence Awards.

Bungalows and Gardens...
All our bungalows are furnished and equipped and maintained to a high standard.
- Kitchens are fully fitted with a dishwasher, fridge, full size electic cooker and microwave. Additional freezer space is provided in the laundry room.
- Lounges are bright, roomy and comfortable with Digital tv, video, dvd and Radio/CD player.
- Free Wireless Internet Connection.
The private rear gardens with their amazing views are an ideal place to sit and soak up the glorious West Somerset coast and countryside. Each garden has a picnic table, chairs, parasol and a BBQ. After a busy day exploring wonderful West Somerset, the best place to be is in the pretty front garden, drink in hand, looking at the sunset over North Hill.
All the bungalows are suitable for disabled guests having level wheelchair access with wheelchair friendly shower rooms. Additional aids are available, please contact us with your requirements.
Cots, high chairs, baby baths and bed guards are provided on request (Please bring your own cot linen).
Games Room and Boule Pitch...
The games room is equipped with a pool table, darts and table tennis and a selection of beach games as well as books for both adults and children. We also have a selection of video tapes and DVDs.
Maps and guide books and copies of tried and tested walks are available to borrow and there are tourist information leaflets in the games room.
The Boule Pitch has proved to be very popular …for those unfamiliar with the game ask for a copy of the rules.
Laundry Room...
There is a shared laundry room with an outside drying area and an iron and ironing board in each bungalow.
Dogs are welcome at Primrose Hill, there is an additional weekly charge of £15.00 per dog. Assistance Dogs get a free holiday. See our recent doggy visitors here.
Cook Frozen Meals
If you do do want to cook or eat out we are pleased to be able to offer a selection of cook frozen meals. For those of you that have never heard of cook, they make their meals using the same ingredients and methods as we all use at home and as a result they look and taste homemade.
They all can be cooked from frozen, we have tried some of them and they are very good.
There is a small stock in the top shelf of the freezer in the laundry room…You can just help yourself, write what you have taken on the list on top of the freezer and pay up before you go home.
I do try and vary the choices each time I order so have a look at what we have in stock when you arrive …..cook deliver on a Wednesday so if you would like me to order a particular dish let me know, there is a brochure in each bungalow.
