River House Bed and Breakfast in northern Illinois offers romantic luxury getaway, weekend package retreat, or leisure and family vacation lodging in your choice of two riverfront guesthouses situated on six acres under tall shade trees. All accommodations feature private baths, television, and wireless internet.
The Getaway lodge offers couples three luxury suites with private bath, Jacuzzi whirlpool tub or hot tub plus working in-room fireplaces. Two of the suites also feature outside entrance from private screened patio or porch. Special occasion amenity options and the compliment of a full gourmet breakfast make this the best romantic getaway in Northern Illinois.
The Timeaway lodge offers standard lodging for family, leisure, or business travelers with five spacious guestrooms that sleep up to 4 persons. The large gathering room hosts activities such as murder mystery weekends, scrapbooking and cooking getaways. Rent the whole house for family reunion, business or church retreats. Wedding packages for events 4 to 100 persons are also available.
Our Location
River House Bed and Breakfast is located just far enough away from Chicago for room-to-roam, but near enough to Rockford-IL, to provide plenty of variety entertainment and fine dining...Great base for day trips to surrounding attractions found in historic Galena-IL, in Spring Green-WI with House on the Rock, and in Chicago, Madison-WI or Milwaukee-WI.
