Unlike our 5* Gold Award winning B&B, we have decided not to subscribe to the Visit Britain Scheme with these lovely new self catering apartments, not for this year anyway, as the grading is not likely to be formalised until after the current summer season (based on the timescale we waited to have the B&B assessed). The quality however is in line with our B&B.
Robertsbridge Retreat at Cornhill comprises 2 luxuriously furnished self catering apartments which have been converted from, which was originally, an old 1800s Corn Mill, each with their own separate entrance, front door & Parking.
The apartments are located in a tucked away, peaceful location in the centre of the historic Medieval town of Robertsbrige, one minute walk to the High Street where you can find the most amazing architecture, restaurants, lovely village pubs and village shops.
Robertsbridge is gorgeous- full of character, steeped in history and perfectly and centrally located to visit: areas of outstanding natural beauty; English Heritage/National Trust properties/gardens; the fabulous dunes at Camber sands & coastal towns like Hastings, ideal for the children; Bodiam Castle; Great Dixter; Rye; Tenterden; Battle, cycling/country walks/nature trails – all within 20 minutes drive
Retreat guests may also use the facilities at the Five Star Gold Award winning B&B - Woodside Bed and Breakfast just 8 minutes drive away - sample their Award Winning Gourmet Breakfast, afternoon tea or A La Carte evening menu, use their Health Suite (Hot Tub/Infrared Sauna/body jet shower/highly qualified masseuse) for a small supplement. The philosophy of Robertsbridge Retreat at Cornhill is to offer sumptuous self catering facilities, in a relaxed, child, and in the case of the lower apartment pet, friendly environment. To offer that something special to make your stay a memorable one including the hospitality extras you would find at a five star B&B - complimentary amenities, chocolates on your pillow on arrival etc. The opportunity to spend some of the time self catering and some time being pampered and looked after up at Woodside - the best of both worlds, depending on your mood of the day…
