There are two Gypsy wagons available, Rosie, and Ellie.Gypsy Wagon Rosie is a Bow Top Wagon for hire. Ellie is a bow top also.Situated in the orchards and fields of Tregaminion.
Gypsy wagon Rosie is a bow top wagon that has been traditionally refurbished. Inside the cosy wagon is a pull out double bed, seating and a traditional Queenie Stove that used to be used for cooking. The double bed is four feet wide and six feet long, (not for giants!)
Adjacent to the Bow Top wagon is a traditional caravan with further facilities, that include a bed for the over six foot traveller, a cooker, fridge, shower and toilette, table and seating. Both wagons have electricity and electric or gas heating. Bedding and towels are included. Electricity, water and gas are included.
Set on the dramatic Lizard Peninsula with far reaching views over Falmouth Bay and open countryside. Within an enchanting hamlet Close to a wide variety of beaches, pubs and restaurants.
the area
There is a footpath close by that leads down to the local beach, {Porthallow} less than a mile and about ten minutes walk across the fields. Porthallow has a popular local pub and a dog friendly beach. There is also a local shop/post office and newsagent..
The footpath also leads in the opposite direction to St Keverne, a larger village about a mile away. There is a 9th century church, post office, Londis shop, newsagent, butchers, garage and two local pubs.
Falmouth Bay is an excellent area for sailing and boating and close by is one of the most beautiful rivers in Cornwall, the Helford River. Boat hire is available for exploring the many creeks and tributaries of the Helford and sailing around Falmouth Bay. The area is also known for its wrecking history and Daphne du Maurier’s books.
