Welcome to our Pet Friendly Lake District Cottage
Rowling End House is at a superb location in The Newlands Valley overlooking Catbells, near Keswick in the Lake District. It offers very high quality self catering holiday accommodation, with the Farm House sleeping 8. The cottages can be booked separately or together, providing large self catering for up to 10 people. Pets and dogs are welcome at both our these Lake District Cottages.
The House; 5 Star, this cottage has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8 people. Outside the cottage there is a storage shed for the logs (which are supplied) and a storage shed for bikes.
This large cottage is perfect for families or groups of friends looking to explore the Lake District. It has full central heating and dogs are welcome.

The bath is over a hundred years old and was formerly in a country house in Norfolk which regularly hosted Winston Churchill; the taps are of a similar age and were originally from the Basil Street Hotel in Knightsbridge
Our Lake District Location
Rowling End House and Mouse House are set in private grounds in the Newlands Valley, near Keswick, in Cumbria, the Lake District. The cottages face Catbells and Maiden Moor, and Newlands beck runs through the grounds. Set in private grounds with gardens and woodland home to the deer, red squirrels and much more wild life.
This is a beautiful scenic part of the Lake District, 4 miles from Keswick, and 2 miles from Braithwaite. Both properties provide an ideal base for your Lakeland holiday in a perfect setting. The local bar and restaurant is just a short walk from the cottages.

The holiday cottages can be booked individually or together, providing flexible accommodation for 2, 4, 6, 8 or large groups of up to 10 people.
Bookings at our holiday cottages will be Friday to Friday. Short breaks are available through the winter from September.
