Rutland Luxury Self Catering Lodges at Greetham Valley near Rutland Water, Oakham Rutland holiday cottage

Comfortably sleeping 6 adults + a baby, our eight lovely log cabins each have three bedrooms and two bathrooms and are furnished to a high standard. The master bedroom benefits from a kingsize bed, which can be split into two twins, and a large en-suite shower room. The second and third bedrooms are both twins and share a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

The open plan living area comprises of:

• a lounge area with seating for 6, coffee table and state of the art TV/DVD/CD player
• a dining area with a solid wood dining table and 6 leather chairs
• a fully fitted modern kitchen, with fridge (small freezer compartment), dishwasher, microwave, electric hob, grill and oven and all the crockery and utensils required for a comfortable self catering stay. A complimentary ‘starter pack’ of cleaning products is provided

There is also an outside decking area with outdoor table and chairs for al fresco dining – and watching the sun go down over Rutland…

Two of our Lodges are pet friendly – up to two pets may accompany their owners on a holiday break at Rutland Lodges and may like to make friends with Jazz, our lovely black Labrador and the latest addition to the Greetham Valley family! There are lovely walkies from right outside the Lodge doors. Please ask for availability of our pet friendly Lodges.  Mill Cottage at Greetham Valley is also a pet friendly holiday cottage and is just 100 yards from Rutland Lodges. There is an additional small charge of £25 if you are bringing your pets.

Other activities to enjoy off-site are all the amenities at nearby Rutland Water - sailing, cycling, walking, birdwatching, flyfishing and more. We are close to the stately homes of Hidden England - Belvoir Castle, Burghley House, Rockingham Castle, Doddington Hall and Grimsthorpe Castle. Enjoy gardening? Barnsdale Gardens, made famous by TV's Geoff Hamilton and now run by his son Nick, are just a 5 minute drive from Rutland Lodges. For a spot of retail therapy, the nearby market towns of Stamford, Oakham, Uppingham, Melton Mowbray and Grantham are ideal, whilst Peterborough, Leicester and Nottingham all have superb shopping malls.

The world famous Burghley Horse Trials are held every September just a few miles away in nearby Stamford, whilst Rutland Water's Bird Fair, held annually in August, is the largest of its' kind in the world.

There is so much to do in and around Rutland, England's smallest county, it is no wonder the county motto is 'Multum in Parvo' - Much in Little!
