Welcome to our large Chalet in heart of Samoens, France
Stylish newly renovated chalet, 300m from the historic centre of the unspoilt village of Samoens.
There are 3 units within Chalet Moccand which can be divided into the main chalet sleeping 10/12, the apartment sleeping 6/8 and 'The Mazot' sleeping 6. If combined, the whole chalet sleeps up to 25 and every bedroom has its own bathroom! This chalet has all modern and luxury conveniences including wifi, satellite tv, wii, PlayStation 2, and is located on the flat.
The main chalet consists of 5 spacious double or twin rooms sleeping 10/12, all have contemporary bathrooms. Rooms have stunning Samoens views overlooking the private garden, 2 also have a balcony. The self contained apartment occupies the top floor with a private mezzanine, this has 2 en suite doubles and a 3rd twin mezzanine bedroom with family bathroom. The Mazot is a further 2 bedroom chalet next door with 2 ensuites, self contained and fully equipped.
The chalet can be rented on a self catered basis.
Our Location
The Samoens village in the Northern French Alps, sits between Morzine and Chamonix, just 1 hour from Geneva. This spectacular and beautiful area is protected and hence hasn’t been spoilt by tourism. Samoens has been awarded a ‘Coq d’Or’ for being one of the prettiest villages in France and is the only ski resort classified by the Caisse des Monuments Historiques.

The Grand Massif Express lift is now open in summer as well as winter; this is fantastic news for walkers, bikers, paragliders and sports enthusiasts alike.
Winter facts….The Grand Massif is the 4th largest ski area in France and has one of the lowest lift to beds ratios…so much smaller queues than other well know resorts. Samoens now has a high speed lift from 1600m up to 2500m…this means less queuing, less time on the lifts and more skiing!
We are also offering some fantastic alternative activities in the winter, so if you are a non skier there are plenty of other exciting things to take part in, why not try our snow shoeing trip for example...a fantastic experience after which you can enjoy a delicious Savoyard meal in a Yurt on the side of the mountain!
There has never been a better time to holiday in the Samoens area, with an abundance of activities to choose from, breathtaking scenery to enjoy, a delightful village to explore and friendly locals to meet.
