This charming lodge is set within beautiful rural grounds and is an excellent base to discover all that the Scottish Borders has to offer. Scottish Tourist Board graded 3 star.
Decorated to a high standard it sleeps five. The double room with its king size bed has french windows leading out to a small patio with table and chairs. There is also a twin and a single room. A travel cot is available upon request.
The spacious and very comfortable sitting room has an open log fire, tv, dvd player, wifi and windows on both sides make this a bright and sunny room. There are a selection of dvd's suitable for all the family as well as a good selection of board games, books and local interest information.
The kitchen is very well equipped and has a full dining area. The bathroom is a good size with shower over the bath.
We welcome well behaved dogs. If required there is an outside kennel.

There is a huge amount to see and do in the area. We are surrounded by fabulous walks from the Cheviot Hills and the Penine Way to the beautiful coastal walks. There are many Cycle routes suitable for all the family; Many excellent golf courses including the local course at The Hirsel, The Links course at Goswick and the championship course at the Roxburgh. There are a number of riding schools which can take you on a lovely hack through the local countryside or enjoy a fabulous beach ride on Holy Island.
The beautiful Northumberland coast, Lindisfarne and the lovely fishing village of St Abbs are just some of the attractions within easy reach and there are many historic castles and houses to visit locally. Edinburgh is only an hour away and there is an excellent train service from Berwick upon Tweed.
