Shepherd’s Crook bunkhouse is a barn conversion situated at Noran Bank Farm adjacent to the 17th century farm house. It has been converted to a very high standard, open all year round and good value for money. It has a fully equipped kitchen, seating area in which to relax, toilet and wetroom with 2 showers on the ground floor. The first floor has two bedrooms, one with double bunk and en-suite shower /toilet, the other has 3 double bunk beds sleeping 6. Duvets, linen and towels are provided. diy breakfast and packed lunches are available if pre-booked. There are various Café’s and Restaurants in easy reach at Patterdale and Glenridding. Our Bunkhouse, where you will receive a warm and friendly welcome has wonderful views of the Lake District fells. Ideally situated for numerous walks on all levels including High Street, Angle Tarn, St. Sunday Crag, Fairfield and of course Helvellyn and you can bring your bicycle too., Opened in May 2009, the bunkhouse has proved immensely popular as an overnight stay on the Coast to Coast route as well as 2/3 night weekend bookings at special rates.
