Welcome to Talcen Foel Cottage
Located in the hamlet of Uwchmynydd, Aberdaron at the western tip of the Llyn Peninsula. Situated at the base of Anelog mountain, with breathtaking sea and mountain views, even of the Wicklow mountains in Ireland on a clear day!
A pretty and comfortable self catering cottage sleeping 2-4. The cottage has a spacious lounge - originally a cowshed - with windows on three sides. Up a couple of steps you reach the kitchen/ dining room. The fully fitted galley kitchen area includes a microwave and washing machine. Both bedrooms, a double and a twin, are at the front and the double offers sea views from the comfort of its bed. Above the kitchen/dining room, an open 'crog loft den' on a balcony reached by a wooden ladder provides a perfect area for peaceful relaxation and reading.
Now in its 10th year of lettings, it has become a perfect haven for regular guests wanting a quiet get away, yet only ten minutes from Aberdaron village, with local shops/bars/cafes and lovely long safe sandy beach for swimming and sailing.
Narrow country lanes around the peninsular are also ideal for cyclists, with miles of mapped cycle routes, so bring your bikes!
Ideal retreat for honeymooners, walkers, birdwatchers, and the stressed out. Direct access from your front gate to the Lleyn Coastal path which takes you to Whistling Sands and beyond, as well as Bardsey Island viewpoint and Aberdaron Bay in the other direction.
