Butlocks Heath Village
Butlocks Heath Village hosts a variety of amenities, comprising of a General Store and its two pubs, The Cottage Inn (Wadworth) and The Roll Call (Free House), both with children's play areas. These are all along Woolston Road. Priors Hill Copse, which is an impressive area of Oak woodland, provides an attractive area in which to walk. Footpaths lead to the Butlocks Heath Reservoir which lies to the north. Playing field with children's play areas, junior’s football pitch and skate board ramp. These are all within 200 meters.
Walks & Cycling
Beautiful countryside walks surround the area with links to The Stawberry Trail, Hamble Rail Trail and The Solent Way. Cycling in the area is enhanced by visiting the Royal Victoria Country Park and cycling through its 200 acres of beautiful woodland and open areas. Also by making use of the National Cycle Network Route 2.
Royal Victoria Country Park, Netley Abbey
Within the grounds of the Royal Victoria Country Park is the Royal Victoria Railway, which winds its way through some of the beautiful woodland. Visit the Heritage Visitor Centre and discover the history of the Royal Chapel and take the Tower Tour - Spectacular sights of Hampshire and a birds eye view from 150ft!
