Welcome to The How. This detached bungalow is in a superb location in Patterdale, near Ullswater and Helvelyn in the Lake District National Park. The whole property has recently been completely refurbished to provide quality self catering accommodation for 3 people. In summary the accommodation comprises:
Lounge Dining Area: with wood-=burning stove, leather sofa and armchair, dining table and chairs, floor to ceiling sliding patio doors with views to Place Fell and Goldrill Beck, Wood burning Stove, Freeview 28 inch TV with DVD Player, books, games and maps.
Kitchen: Modern kitchen with fridge, cooker and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and dishwasher
Bathroom: With sink, toilet, heated towel rail, bath with overhead shower
Master Bedroom: Double bed, small wardobe and chest of drawers. Dual aspect with 2 windows
Single Bedroom: Good sized room with full sized single bed, small wardrobe and chest of drawers
Outside Shed: With washing machine, additional fridge/freezer and space for storage
Outside: Patio gardens at the front and rear of the property with several seating areas to catch the afternoon sun.
The cottage is ideally located in Patterdale. The nearest pub is just 300 yards down the road, as is the Patterdale Village Store and Post Office. There are a host of walks straight from the door and Ullswater is just 10 minutes down the road on foot.
