The Manor House Stables Luxury Self Catering Lincolnshire, Martin holiday cottage

A rural retreat in the heart of Lincolnshire, our beautifully restored Award-winning 18th century stable offers 4 star luxury accommodation.  We used natural eco-friendly materials and traditional methods to produce two units of quality self catering holiday accommodation which are warm and welcoming with exposed beams, lime washed walls and wood-burning stoves.  On your arrival you are greeted with a luxury hamper full of local or organic goodies, fresh vegetables, Lincolnshire sausages, cheese, milk, eggs and butter, freshly baked bread, a bottle of wine and much more...

We offer 2 accommodations - the upstairs Hayloft which is spacious yet cosy which sleeps 2 in a double bedroom and an additional 2 in the unusual box bed in the living area.  The ground floor Bothy again sleeps 2 in a bedroom with an additonal single box bed for a child in the living room.  Both accommodations have well-equipped kitchens, luxury bathrooms and lovely secluded gardens with wooden furniture and a barbeque sets.

We are situated at the edge of the village of Martin in the centre of LIncolnshire where you can walk to the local shop or pub and restuarant.  We are only 4 miles from the lovely Edwardian town of Woodhall Spa with its shops, tearooms and historic cineme, and only 20 minutes from the historic city of Lincoln with its cathedral, castle, museums and shops. There is plenty to do in Lincolnshire - walking, cycling, fishing, golfing and birdwatching if you want to enjoy the big outdoors; history, especially for those interested in aviation history and the second World War; shopping,  especially if you are a foodie and want to buy from local Farmers' Markets, and many other activities.

We have a small shop on site where we also run craft, gardening and cookery workshops for small groups of people throughout the year - you can join these if you let us know in advance - please see our website for more details.
