Fishing rights on River Avon. Tomintoul 2 miles, Grantown on Spey 10 miles. Aviemore & The Moray Firth both 30 mins drive. Great location for touring The Highlands. Great walks on the Glenlivet Estate, many from the doorstep. Perfect for walking, cycling, fishing, shooting, whisky trail, castle trail, wildlife, golf, pony trekking, quadbiking, clay pigeons etc. 6 miles from The Lecht ski area and 35 mins drive from Cairngorm Mountain.
Helpful visitor info and guidebooks / maps left in cottage by knowledgable owners who can assist with recommending activities / restaurants etc if required. All in all, a great place to either come and do nothing, or come and do everything.
