Welcome to Treleddyn, our luxury 5 Star Holiday Cottages near the quiet town of St. Davids in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Our two beautiful large cottages are situated right on the south west coast of Wales, so are mere minutes walk away from the beautiful Porthselau Beach and the Atlantic Ocean, where breathtaking views, outstanding walks and coastal wildlife are in abundance. There is also the superb Whitesands beach, which is only a twenty minute walk away along the coastal path which runs alongside the property.
Treleddyn cottage is a 17th century listed farmhouse cottage which has been restored to remain faithful to its original style. With beautiful oak beams and exposed brick, the feel of the property is one of rustic elegance. The town of St David’s is very close to the properties, with good road links to it and other places in the area, so travelling to and from the cottage is very easy. This makes it a perfect holiday cottage for both those looking for a bit of relaxation and peace and quiet, but also for the more active guests. The cottages sleep 12 and 8 people respectively, making them ideal for large family or friend get togethers and holidays in Wales.
Our Holiday Cottages Facilities and Accommodation
The first luxury cottage we have is Lower Treleddyn Farmhouse which sleeps 12 people in six bedrooms, with three toilets. The property offers a beautiful walled garden and a well-equipped games room for children and adults alike. The ground floor has a separate family room with a television with video player and a stereo;, a main living room with widescreen television with Freeview, a dvd player, a video player and a gas fire;, a toilet/shower room;, a beautiful kitchen with a fireplace;, and a twin bedroom. The first floor has a twin bedroom, a bathroom/toilet, a double bedroom and a further twin/double bedroom. The second floor contains the excellent en-suite master bedroom, with fantastic views across Whitesands Bay to St David’s Head and Ramsey Island.
The second large cottage is called Hafod Y Gwynt Barn, and sleeps eight people in three bedrooms. This newly recently converted barn provides an excellent modern standard of accommodation, while still retaining its rustic charm and antique aesthetic features. The ground floor has an open plan living room/dining room with a wood burning stove, plenty of seating for eight to eat and relax, large plasma screen television with sky and a dvd player, and an Ipod docking station; a well equipped kitchen with all modern appliances and a worktop area; a utility room with central heating boiler and a washing machine and dryer; downstairs cloakroom with toilet and sink; and an en-suite bedroom with king size bed, full size bath, large separate shower and toilet. The first floor has a double bedroom with king size bed and a built in wardrobe; a bedroom with two sets of bunk beds which can be used as a twin bedroom or to sleep four children and a family bathroom with large shower, toilet and a free standing bath. Included with the holiday cottage are wireless broadband internet access, linen and towels, electricity and heating, and ample parking. Also behind the property there is a patio and an enclosed garden with seating area.

The town of St David’s, in Pembrokeshire, is very close to the properties, with good road links to it and other places in the area, so travelling to and from the cottage is very easy. This makes it a perfect holiday cottage for both those looking for a bit of relaxation and peace and quiet, but also for the more active guests. Situated on the Pembrokeshire Coast National park, Treleddyn is within driving distance of some of the most beautiful coastal scenery in Europe. For wildlife enthusiasts, several of the nearby islands are renowned for their seabird and seal populations, and are under conservation status, causing the populations of both of those and many other creatures to become much larger and more healthy. There is a visitor centre in St David’s, which is very modern and very informative, and is definitely worth a visit at the start of your holiday to learn some more about the area.
