Welcome to our Luxury Holiday Cottage in Dorset

Updown Cottage offers guests the perfect getaway - peace, inspiration and stunning views over miles of glorious English countryside whilst being only yards from an eclectic mix of independent delis, restaurants, pubs & shops.

The inglenook fireplace complete with a basket of logs for the woodburning stove, flat screen TVs, hundreds of DVDs and videos make it the ideal base for a cosy winter break but equally the sundrenched terrace in summer tempts guests to spend the day with glass in hand!

Music lovers will find a baby grand piano, high quality music systems and wonderful music festivals such as Sherborne & Salisbury.

Food lovers will be spoilt for choice by the wealth of fantastic local produce to enjoy both within the cottage (equipped for dining and cooking for 12 and with a renowned personal chef by arrangement) or at the many tried and tested restaurants.

Wedding parties are a short distance from many popular venues such as Larmer Tree Gardens, Wardour Castle and the beautiful local churches.

Families are well catered for by the close proximity to many tourist sites such as Longleat, Stonehenge, Bath, Salisbury, Lyme Regis and the Jurassic coast, Corfe & Wardour Castles.

All visitors are pampered by White Company linen, natural toiletries, piles of towels, robes and a breakfast basket delivered by the local deli.
