Available to hire is our 2 bedroomed, Wheelchair accessible Static Caravan on a 5* holiday park in Edithmead, Burnham on sea, Somerset. As a wheelchair user myself I know how difficult it is to find accessible holiday accommodation that really is accessible. We are happy to hire it out for a limited number of weeks to offset site fees. The caravan been specifically built by Atlas as a disabled friendly caravan and is sited on a nice, flat level pitch.
The caravan has a spacious double bedroom, and a twin bedroom. It also has a spring action bed settee in the lounge so could sleep 5-6 people. It has a fully accessible bathroom with low level seated shower, toilet with handrails, and ample space for a wheelchair and carer. There is an extra wide hallway leading to all of the rooms and a separate kitchen with a gas (mains) cooker, fridge and a microwave. There is also an iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer.
The caravan is fully ramped, with extra width doorways and a spacious interior. The extensive decking area to the side is ideal for alfresco dinning or sunbathing with an additional lounging area to the front overlooking the park. There is allocated parking next to the ramp leading to the caravan. The main facilities are only 100 metres away from the caravan along a flat tarmac pathway.
5* Home Farm holiday park has excellent accessible facilities including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, gym, club with live entertainment, (additional fees payable), also restaurant, takeaway, shop, bars, launderette, amusements, kiddies play park and even a fishing lake. The site also benefits from a dog walking area and a doggie shower. All visitors are required to purchase guest passes upon arrival. These are not included in the caravan hire cost.
5* Home Farm Holiday Park, is approx 1 ½ mile from Burnham on Sea, sea front, and only about ten minutes from the attractions of nearby Brean Sands.
N.B. For the comfort of other users the caravan is non smoking. Pets may be considered but only by agreement in writing from the owners (additional charges will apply) Deposits will be required to confirm bookings.
