Welcome to Wolborough House, our large luxury holiday home in an elevated posotion on the beach front in Brixham, on the English Riviera on the South Devon coast. The holiday house provides luxurious self catering holiday accommodation for up to 16 people in 8 bedrooms and with 3 bathrooms and superb facilities, including an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, and gym. It makes the perfect location for large family holidays, large group get togethers, reunions and special occasions. This is truly a magnificent and unique large holiday accommodation in South Devon!
Our Large Devon Holiday Cottage
Wolborough house offers truly luxurious self catering. This Edwardian holiday house has eight bedrooms (most with panoramic sea views) and sleeps up to 16. There are three bathrooms and a shower room. There is a superb indoor heated swimming pool, as well as a sauna, gymnasium and shower. The holiday accommodation also has a bar, snug, table tennis & table football. The snooker room has a full size snooker table.
The Dining room has an open fire and seating for 16 guests, and superb views of Torbay and Brixham harbour. The lounge has a plasma TV with surround sound. There is a modern fitted Kitchen with range cooker and all kitchen appliances. There is also a secondary prep kitchen with additional facilities.
Throughout the house there is fine antique furniture and elegant rooms with breathtaking panoramic sea views.
The superb garden has a terrace with furniture, BBQ and a large lawn area all with fantastic panoramic views overlooking the bay. There is ample parking for between 8 and 12 cars.
There is a separate annex where the caretakers reside - They know the house very well and are always there to assist.

Our large holiday home occupies the most superb elevated position along the historical coast of Brixham in the English Riviera on the South Devon Coast, in the South West of England. The spectacular far reaching views from the house look north across Torbay and Lyme Bay - both hypnotic with their plethora of activities from trawlers to dolphins during the day, to a spectacular light show at night.
The historical and picturesque fishing village of Brixham offers the Breakwater beach and public slipway as well as a range of quaint local shops, tearooms, pubs and restaurants. The surrounding area also offers a huge range of activities from the most relaxing like sailing, steam trains, zoos and walking to the most extreme of holidays like skiing, power boating and sea cliff climbing.
Along the 22 miles of the English Riviera coastline there are 20 beaches from wide sandy stretches to hidden rocky coves, making Wolborough House the idyllic base for a large group holiday in Devon, and the ideal base for exploring the whole of the South-West, including the rest of Devon and Cornwall.
