Burren National Park is located in Northern County Clare in Ireland. Many varieties of beautiful wild flowers are found on the national park and are famous with botanists around the world. For everyone else they add to the beauty of this unique landscape. The Burren National Park landscape is truly unique with its limestone hills that gradually merge into the lowlands of the area. The Burren National Park is an ideal area for walking as it's not mountainous or flat and wet like other areas in Ireland. The hills in the area give some spectacular views especially in late spring when flowers carpet the rocks. The Burren area has many tracks and byroads which are good for easy walking. Some of the West of Irelands lovely towns and villages surround the national park such as Ennis, Corofin, Burren and Crusheen.
