Padstow is a small former fishing port and holiday resort on the north coast of Cornwall, 14 miles from Newquay. The fishing boats have largely given way to yachts in the harbour and the upmaket nature of Padstow has been further enhanced by the restauranteur Rick Stein, who has opened several restaurants and cafes in the town.
