Tarbet is situated on Loch Fyne, backed by rocky hills and next to a natural harbour. It is a working fishing village that lands fresh fish almost daily and has an annual seafood festival celebrating its fishing heritage during the first full weekend in July. In addition to this, yachting races are held there during the sailing season. It is an idyllic little village with several shops, pubs, and hotels. A very special place surrounded by areas of natural beauty and conservation.
