What do I get with my free basic listing?

Your free basic listing gives you a full listing with a primary photo, photo gallery, summary and detailed descriptions, price and capacity information, a contact email, and extensive location and property feature categories which are frequently used by holiday makers searching for accommodation. You get four “free” email enquiries to show that the site can deliver real enquiries.

What happens when I get my 4 “free” emails?
|
When you get your fourth enquiry you will be asked to log in to your account to receive your enquiry. What most people do at this stage is upgrade their account to the premium level to receive all future enquiries direct to their inbox as well as benefiting from the extensive features of a premium listing.

Can I keep my free listing after that?
|
If you decide not to upgrade you are more than welcome to keep your free listing in place with a contact phone number.

Surely enquiries will go unanswered if I don’t upgrade?
|
Our priority is to ensure no enquiries go unanswered. You will always be shown all enquiries that have been made to your property. However if you decide not to upgrade we will ask you to remove your email address from your listing. You can then keep the free listing with a contact phone number.

What happens if I have had “spam” emails?
|
We have extensive “anti-spam” measures in place to ensure all enquiries are genuine but if you believe one of yours is spam, or you sent a test enquiry to yourself, or if you have received the same enquiry twice, just let us know and we will remove it and reset your email enquiry counter.

How many enquiries will I get with a premium listing?
|
On average our premium listings are viewed in excess of 1000 times a year, and from this we would expect a referral rate, to include email enquiries, web site click throughs and phone enquiries of at least 50 a year. This is a minimum number, with many premium listings vastly exceeding this.

What else do I get with a premium listing?
|
The premium listing gives you a wide range of features, including a full page listing with unlimited text and photos, web and email links, priority ranking on our internal searches, a listing on our mobile platform, free use of our special offers, use of our online calendar, and good placing in external search engines as well.

How much does it cost at the premium level?
|
Our standard price for an annual premium listing is £180 excluding VAT. Owners of multiple properties are eligible for reductions, and if you upgrade in your first month on the site then you pay just £150 excluding VAT. Please contact us for details.

How do people find love to escape?
|
The site receives the majority of its traffic from the major search engines. The site has more than 350,000 indexed pages and is optimised for the full range of search terms used by holiday makers when looking for holiday accommodation. Your premium listing will appear typically on at least 150 of these indexed pages. If you would like specific examples for your location and property type please just contact us. We are also getting increasing traffic from visitors returning to the site and from word of mouth recommendations.

All the directors of love to escape are holiday accommodation owners themselves and set up the site in order to deliver a true value for money accommodation website that delivers real enquiries and bookings.

Our visitor numbers are growing every day. In 2010 we had over 7.4 million page views of the site, putting us in the top 3 of all UK Holiday Accommodation websites, as measured by Alexa (see below). In 2011 our traffic is continuing to rise year on year.

How often can I update my advert?
|
You can update your advert as often as you like, in fact the more often you update your listing the better. To ensure our holiday makers get the most up to date information all our search results are ordered with the most recently updated properties at the top, so feel free to update the listing every day!
