This fantastic region of England is situated, as its name suggests, in the very centre of the country. It takes into its jurisdiction the counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Birmingham, Coventry and the Black country, and gives a huge variety of different areas in which to base your Holiday this year. With it being at the Heart of England, this region is the perfect place from which to explore all the many different attractions and places of interest that Central England has to offer.
If the outdoors is your cup of tea then the Cotswolds and the Lake District are not far away, where you can explore the huge array of wildlife and activities while staying within a relatively short distance of your accommodation. However, if a nice cup of tea is more your cup of tea, then you might want to try visiting one of the hundreds of quiet towns and villages scattered evenly across the rolling countryside, where you will find a wealth of rural charm and classic English culture .
If you are travelling as a family, there are plenty of things to do for the kids. These are a great way to see this part of the country, and can keep the kids occupied for hours!
Alongside this, there are many opportunities to take part in things like Golf, Fishing, Cycling and Climbing, among others for the more active of us, and some lovely scenic walks and paths for the whole family to enjoy. There are many spas and well-being centres dotted around the counties, where Mum can go to relax and get away from the family for a few hours while Dad and the kids go and explore around the beautiful towns and cities of the area.
