Marbella is a luxurious resort town and surrounding area. The Marbella coastline stretches along some 26 kilometres of sunny beaches by the Mediterranean. The town itself is has a mild, pleasant climate even the hot months are tolerable due to the fresh sea breeze. The mountain La Concha with its 1200 m high peak above Marbella area is the reason for the exceptionally good climate, as protects the area. Although the marina area is flashy, the old town still retains its Spanish character especially in the Plaza de Los Naranjos (Orange Square). In the square you can expect stately buildings, small shops, art galleries, bars and bistros and is a hub of activity day and night.
