Welcome to our self catering cottage in Dumfries & Galloway

Set in spectacular hill farm country  a comfortable holiday cottage with views  to river, fields and a bank of larch trees offers colour, birdlife and red squirrels through the seasons. With additional living space upstairs, there is one shallow step to the ground floor. Little passing traffic,  walking right from the door, the pretty fenced garden is a pleasant  haven at the end of the day.

• Linked sitting and dining rooms with stove and a basket of logs for cosy evenings. Central heating for additional warmth and comfort. Fuel and power included in rent.
• Well equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine.
• 3 bedrooms, one double downstairs overlooking river, one with two single beds  looking on to back garden, third upstairs with twin beds and adjoining shower-room. Bed linen and towels provided. Hairdryer. Cot and baby chair on request.
• Downstairs bathroom with bath and shower over.
• Water supplied from local burn,  filtered and UV treated.
• Fully fenced garden with seating area.     Parking for 2 cars. Cover for bicycles. Phone, Radio/CD player. TV with Freesat, dvd player,WiFi.   
• A selection of books, dvd's, games and puzzles.

Our Dumfries and Galloway Location

  This cottage is 3.5 miles inland from Gatehouse of Fleet in Dumfries and Galloway, a conservation village with a good range of restaurants and pubs. There is local shopping with a supermarket open  7 days a week; post office, chemist, book and gift shops.

Loch and river fishing can be booked locally. The Fleet Valley is ideally situated in the heart of varied cycling country.  Easy distance to  7 Stanes cycling centres, Laggan Outdoor activity centre.  Excellent hillwalking from the cottage.
