Assynt House is a Grade II listed building in the Scottish Highlands offering a flexible holiday home experience in luxury surroundings. The house has seven bedrooms and they are all very spacious and well-equipped and all have en-suite bathrooms.
The Drawing room is wood lined and has two open fires, comfortable sofas and a dining table to seat 14 people with ease. There is a quiet sitting room with open fire and a TV lounge with games and leather sofas, providing another charming space to relax. The kitchen has everything you could need to rustle up some amazing meals, the owner is a chef and very happy to provide catering, should you wish to take advantage of his skills. They can make a formal dinner for special occasions or one-pot meals freshly made for you to serve yourselves after a day exploring.
Their friendly housekeeper comes daily, late morning, to freshen the house for you and take care of those housekeeping jobs you don't need to worry about whilst on holiday. There is lots of information in the house about the local area and things you can plan during your stay, maps, leaflets, walks, recommendations, fitness or beauty treatments at the house, lots can be arranged.
Awarded 5 Stars from Visit Scotland as an Exclusive Use Venue, the house offers a very high standard of accommodation for you to enjoy as a family or group of friends. The house is child friendly and cots, high-chairs and children's books and toys can provided to enhance your stay.
Activities are so abundant, if you love the outdoors almost any activity can be arranged locally or within about an hours drive. Archery in the garden or boat trips for some dolphin spotting, this is a beautiful part of the world and Assynt House provides a perfect base to explore the Highlands of Scotland.
