LThe Quad is a barn converted into a contemporary house built around a courtyard and is located in a beautiful peaceful valley only 45 minutes from Bristol and 2 hours 30 minutes from London. The Barn is surrounded by picturesque, unspoilt countryside surrounded by the Blackdown Hills, Quantocks and Exmoor, where wild ponies and deer are easily spotted. To the north are the sandy beaches of Saunton, Croyde & Woolacombe with surfing and other water sports available. Watchet Marina, Minehead and the medieval village of Dunster, with its magnificent castle are also within easy reach. To the south lies the Jurassic South Coast, with all its many popular beauty spots and attractions, including Topsham, Branscombe, and Beer.

The Accommodation
The accommodation sleeps up to a maximum of 16 guests in 6 bedrooms; one bedroom and the master dressing room both have additional sofa beds available.
Ground Floor:
Entrance Hall with a large games table with roulette wheel and other games. There is underfloor heating over the entire ground floor.
The South facing sunny Aga kitchen is large and well equipped with a 16 seat dining table and cosy open fire. There are two Large fridges, 4 x induction hobs, an Aga, a separate electric oven, miele dishwasher and microwave oven. Dining Room area with huge extendable dining table by the fireside which seats up to 16. High chair and children’s table and chairs provided too.
The sitting room adjoins the dining room and has ample comfy seating in two areas plus an open fireplace. There is a 4ft plasma tv. Free Wifi, with signal strongest in the kitchen.
The master suite has a four poster double bed and a real fireplace in the large bedroom area with doors opening onto the garden. The large adjoining dressing room has a double sofa bed, doors to the garden and a wall of wardrobes. The suite also has a large limestone bathroom with double bath, shower and twin wash basins

The bathrooms are all large, and finished in limestone or mosaic with the very highest quality sanitary ware from Phillipe Stark and Duravit.

The Grounds
The barn is set in a glorious peaceful rural valley. There is ample parking in the gravelled driveway. There is a formal entrance through a pair of immense hardwood doors into the entrance hall, or an informal entrance through the garden gate into the secure, totally private, walled garden. This is particularly nice for families with young children as they can play safely in the garden and be watched from virtually every room in the house.  It is also escape proof for dogs. There is a huge round garden table with 4 curved benches which seats 12 guests comfortably under the sunshade. There is also a Gas bbq. In the corner you will find a fantastic 8 seater hot tub perfect for total relaxation. The charge for the hot tub, if required is £75.
