The scene in Outlander where Claire and Frank part company was filmed on location at the Bo’ness and Kinneal Railway Station, one of the oldest in Scotland. Its archaic design and decor made it the perfect post-war setting for the scene. In the present, visitors can take a ride on an old restored Steam Train, visit Scotland’s largest Railway Museum, and even take a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine. Kids are sure to adore a visit to the Bo’ness and Kinneil Railway Station as much as you will.
