This is a lovely old castle situated on the banks of the river Teith. Built in the 1300s, the castle is particularly interesting because it looks much like it would have when it was in use. Great halls, battlements and twisting stair ways give children much to explore.
After or before, you can picnic in the grounds by the river which is also safe for swimming on hot days.
