'La Principale' is a self-catering holiday cottage at Le Moulin de Chazotte. This is a magnificent French water mill dating back to the 15th century. Set in rural tranquility in 11 acres of grounds with a 12x6m pool yet only 7km from historic Cognac
"Le Moulin de Chazotte" is an historic French watermill situated in rural tranquility yet only 7km from world-renowned Cognac.
There are four high-quality holiday cottages available of which "La Principale" is the jewel in the crown. La Principale has been renovated to the highest standards whilst retaining the traditional features of a Charentais house. There are 11 acres of park and woodland and the river Chazotte running through the grounds. The large swimming pool (6m x 12m with roman steps) is of the latest saltwater type and is fully-fenced with ample sun-bathing space. Facilities on site include a shaded badminton area, swings, bikes, a canadian canoe, table-tennis and table-football. The property has been awarded the prestigious "3 Epis" (3 star) rating by Gites de France and has been featured in both UK mainstream TV and magazines in recent years.
