Studford Luxury Lodge offers the ultimate in 'designer' holiday accommodation in a quiet location with far-reaching tree-lined views. Tucked away on private woodlands on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, the lodge is one of only six on a small, independently-run holiday site, only four miles from the bustling market town of Helmsley and 19 miles north of York.

The lodge is architecturally-designed, made from sustainable timber and built on stilts to make the most of the woodland setting. Visitors have their own sauna and hot tub and can enjoy the views from the privacy of their own spacious and enclosed decking, or, on cooler days, through full-height picture windows running the full length of the living area.

The lodge sleeps six people in three generous en-suite bedrooms. King size beds can be re-arranged as single beds if required, and all guests enjoy the luxury of Egyptian bed linen and complimentary bathrobes for use during their stay. All three bathrooms have large walk-in showers and one has a bath as well as a shower. There are flat screen TVs in all three bedrooms.

The living area is open plan with a stylish Italian wood burning stove being a key feature, alongside designer soft furnishings and plenty of original art. There is a 60" smart tv with SkyTv in the living area and PlayStation 4 with dvd and Blu-ray, plus a Roberts sound system and a sonos sound system

The kitchen is superbly well-equipped with an American style fridge; dedicated wine fridge; Nespresso coffee machine and crockery from Emma Bridgewater, as well as the usual cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher, and full range of cooking utensils. The kitchen has a breakfast bar with padded stools, ideal for snacking and feeding the children, while there is also a large traditional dining table with chairs for more leisurely, sociable evening meals!

On the decking, the hot tub sits alongside comfortable outside seating and sun loungers. An electric barbecue if provided for dining al fresco, as are extra towels for outside bathing.

The lodge also has a boot room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, and ample space for storing and drying outdoor gear.

Studford Luxury Lodge is open all year round and benefits from a powerful wood burner (starter fuel pack provided) as well as underfloor heating throughout which is fueled by a super-efficient eco-friendly biomass boiler.
