A beautiful seaside town in Scotland

Known the world over as a fantastic seaside vacation destination, this idyllic town on the Scottish Coast boasts the famous Royal Troon Golf Course. The town overlook the Isle of Arran out to sea, and the harbour still remains active as a busy fishing and ferry port. In Outlander, Troon features as the port where Claire, Jamie and Murtagh come to see Jamie off on his voyage to France.
