View Availability and Make Bookings and Payments

The availability calendar and booking and payments system allows owners to let holiday-makers know when their accommodation is available, take booking requests and bokings, and offer their holidaymakers the facility to pay online by Credit and Debit card. If the property has more than one room or more than one self-catering cottage, each calendar will show once you click on ‘View Availability’.

Note that owners can set calendars for up to 18 months ahead but the listings default to show only the next 12 months. If you wish to see availability beyond 12 months, click the arrow or month button just above the calendar.

Non-available dates are shown as red and if you hover over the sate it will say booked/unavailable so you can quickly see if the dates you want are available.

If an accommodation is bookable by the day (for example in a guest house or bed and breakfast), then each day that is available is clickable. When you hover over the day the price and booking terms are shown on the right hand side of the calendar. If an accommodation is only bookable by the week (for example in a self-catering cottage), then only the changeover day \ arrival day is highlighted. Once again, you can hover over the arrival day to find out prices and booking terms. If the owner offer short breaks, this will be shown in the booking details at the right hand side when you hover over the date.

Once you have found the dates you want and wish to proceed to book them you can either phone the owner, send an enquiry or use the preferred method - the lovetoescape.com booking system by clicking on ‘Book Online’.

If the 'Book and Pay Online' option is shown, the holiday property owner offers our secure Online Payments System.

Using the online booking system is simple – it allows you to ‘make a booking’ in 4 easy steps. Using this gives you a greater chance of securing the booking and means that the system does the difficult work of calculating prices, deposit and balance due dates leaving the holiday-maker and owner more time to talk about the important things like where to eat out, which are the best walks and closest beaches!

Using our Online Payments System is also very easy. The system automatically records all of your transactions in your Holidaymaker Login Area, reminds you of balance payment dates, and most importantly allows you to pay instantly for your holiday by Credit and Debit card.

If the accommodation owner does not want you to book using online booking engine, you will be unable to click on the calendar and will need to contact the owners directly by clicking on ‘contact owner by email’.

Please note that payment arrangements should be confirmed with the owner, and an email will be sent to your account to confirm your booking arrangement. So please look out for this in your inbox.
