An Iron Age Hill Fortress with panoramic views over leicestershire.Accessed by footpaths or from a nearby carpark.
This has been a meeting place for thousands of years. There is currently a 5 year Heritage Lottery funded research project taking place to evaluate the significance of the Hill Fortress. This extends to the valley below, where it is thought clay was excavated for use in the ramparts. Clay from Moscow Farm.
