We've converted this glorious mansion to provide the space, location and facilities which will ensure you have a genuinely memorable holiday. Indoors there's more than enough space to sleep 24, with a couple of cots for the under 3's, and 9 of the bedrooms have their own bathroom while 2 share. The ground floor houses an easy access twin bedroom (equally helpful for the elderly, partially abled, or simply those who don't like stairs) with it's own loo and shower room. The Great Hall has a wood burner, satellite tv, dvd player and music system, while the dining room comfortably accommodates 24 round the table and the kitchen and breakfast room make entertaining a breeze. On site, there's plenty to keep everybody amused: a games room with table tennis, pool, table football and more; a hot tub to unwind after a day's walking, canoeing or cycling in the nearby Wye Valley and Forest of Dean; a well equipped playground; a barbecue area and plenty of outdoor seating where you can relax and listen to the River Monnow slowly wind its way downstream to join the River Wye.
