George Square (as Featured in Outlander Tv Series), Scotland

George Square in Glasgow is named after King George iii and was first laid out in around 1781. It has been the host of many film sets over the years, including World War Z and of course Outlander. It was the setting for Frank’s proposal to Claire in Outlander, once of the most poignant scenes in the series. The tall statues and old architecture of the square and surrounding buildings make for a great place to visit and relive the Outlander experience. Die-hard fans will be flocking to the square to propose to their other halves.
