Canterbury is a hugely popular tourist destination in Kent, in the South-East of England. Its most famous tourist attraction is Canterbury Cathedral, but there is a wealth of history in the whole city which is apparent as soons as any visitor walks down the main street through the city centre and looks down any of the numerous alleys and lanes.

Canterbury also now has a huge student population, meaning that in addition to the main tourist attractions there are a vast range of bars, restaurants and cafes. it is has also undergone a massive recent redevelopment of the city centre, with the new Whitefriars shopping area offering all the top name shops.

There are also many fantastic things to do in and around Canterbury, for example the world renowned Howletts Zoo Park, and the Marlowe Theatre.
