Grasmere is in Cumbria in the heart of the Lake District. It is to the north west of Ambleside, next to Grasmere lake and Rydal water. There are lots of fascintating things to do in addition to walking the fells and around the lake, including some of the histroical attractions associated with William Wordsworth such as Dove Cottage and Rydal Mount.
