The Cotswolds is a beautiful area of outstanding natural beauty characterised by great villages and towns built of the characteristic Cotswolds stone. The area has a great range of holiday accommodation as well as many attractions and restaurants.

Explore The Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is often called the 'Heart of England', and has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Cotswolds lie mainly within the ceremonial counties of Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, but extend into parts of Wiltshire, Somerset, Worcestershire and Warwickshire. The area is characterised by attractive small towns and villages built of the underlying Cotswold stone.

Main towns and villages include Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden, Burford, Shipston-on-Stour, and Broadway.

Attractions and activities in The Cotswolds

There is a huge range of attractions, places to eat and other activities to suit all tastes, including Beverston Castle, Calcot Manor, Cirencester Abbey and Sudeley Castle. There are also a number of activities on offer to keep you busy including walking along the many trails, cycling horse riding and golfing.
